Privacy Policy
Creation supports personal recordings and local playback, optional Cloud backup, and optional Personal AI Voice. This policy explains when your audio stays on your device and when a reviewed sample is uploaded to create your own AI voice.
1. Information we collect
Creation collects data needed for app functionality: your email address and sign-in information; cloud playlists, selections, daily to-do text and completion status; recordings you choose to back up; app store subscription status; and, only when you consent to Personal AI Voice, your reviewed voice sample, chosen affirmation text, personal voice profile and consent record.
2. Audio recordings
Individual affirmation recordings stay on your device by default. Optional Cloud backup sends copies to Creation over an encrypted connection for restoration. Personal AI Voice is separate: after you record a 30 to 120 second sample, preview it and confirm it is your own voice, Creation sends that sample securely to the provider named on the consent screen to create a personal voice. Creation does not store the uploaded sample in its account database or use your recordings for advertising. The provider may process and retain the sample under its own terms, including model improvement as described below.
3. Microphone access
Creation requests microphone access when you choose to record an affirmation or a Personal AI Voice sample. Recording starts only after you tap the record control. The microphone is not used in the background.
4. File access for background music
If you choose a custom background track, the app is granted read access only to the specific audio file you pick through the system file chooser. It does not request broad file-library access.
5. Optional Personal AI Voice generation
When available for your account, Personal AI Voice requires sign-in and your explicit own-voice consent to the named provider. Fish Audio or ElevenLabs receives your reviewed sample for voice creation and the affirmation text you explicitly choose to prepare. The consent screen identifies the provider before any upload. Existing voices remain bound to their original provider; changing the provider requires new consent and does not silently transfer your sample or voice. Creation stores the provider voice reference and consent record linked to your account; provider credentials stay on the server. Prepared clips are saved on your device for offline playback. Creation also keeps an encrypted, account-specific copy of AI-generated clips so another device or a reinstall can restore the same prepared audio without generating it again. This cache does not replace or modify your individual recordings. Listening does not automatically generate new audio. You can delete your AI voice in its setup screen; account deletion also requests deletion of the provider voice before reporting success. The provider processes these records under its own privacy and retention policy: Fish Audio or ElevenLabs. Fish Audio's standard terms allow submitted content and usage to be used for model improvement or training and may retain some content after deletion. A private voice model is not a promise of no training or immediate erasure. Creation requests provider deletion and waits for its API confirmation; that confirmation does not prove removal from every provider backup or trained model. Android also retains its separate optional legacy mode, which sends chosen text using the API key and voice ID you supply. These features do not send payment card details.
6. In-app purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Google Play or Apple's App Store. We receive subscription status confirmation but do not receive or store your payment card details.
7. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app may send local notifications on your device at the times you configure. Notification settings can also be changed from your device system settings.
8. Analytics and sharing
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
9. Security
Sign-in, Cloud backup, Personal AI Voice samples and text, and app store purchase checks use encrypted transport such as TLS. Server credentials and provider voice references are not returned by Personal AI Voice to the app. Local recordings, prepared clips and preferences are protected by your device security settings.
10. Optional account sync (website API)
If you sign in with email in the app, we store your email address, short-lived sign-in codes, a session token, and the playlist and selection metadata and personal voice recordings you choose to upload with Cloud backup. Your daily to-do checklist syncs automatically while signed in, including its text, dates and completion status. Guest checklists stay on that device and are kept separate from signed-in accounts. This data is used only to sign you in and make your saved content available across devices. You can delete this cloud data at any time using account deletion in the app or by contacting us.
Delete your cloud account and data
- Open Creation's app menu.
- Select Account and sign in if needed.
- Tap Delete cloud account.
- Confirm Delete.
Successful deletion first confirms that the provider API accepted deletion of your AI voice, if present, then removes its Creation profile and consent record and your cloud account email address, sign-in codes, sessions, synced playlist and selection data, daily to-do checklists, and backed-up personal voice recordings. The deleted account’s cached checklist is also cleared on the device where you delete the account. Other local content remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Other devices may retain an offline checklist cache until you remove the app’s local data.
11. Data retention and deletion
On-device data. Audio recordings, generated voice clips, API keys, voice IDs, and preferences stored on your device remain there until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.
Sign-in data. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted during hourly cleanup. Sessions expire after 90 days without use and are deleted during hourly cleanup.
Cloud account data. Your account email address, synced playlist and selection metadata, daily to-do checklists, backed-up personal voice recordings, and personal AI voice profile and consent records are retained until you delete the account or remove the relevant voice. Deleting a to-do removes its text from the live account database; a minimal deletion marker remains to prevent an older device from restoring it. When account deletion succeeds, Creation immediately removes the email address, sign-in codes, sessions, synced metadata, daily to-dos and deletion markers, and backed-up recordings from the live account database. Restricted operational recovery snapshots may retain pre-deletion account data after it is removed from the live database. These snapshots support release recovery and are not used by the app to restore deleted accounts. Deletion from the live database does not immediately remove an existing recovery snapshot.
Personal AI Voice. Creation keeps the voice profile and encrypted generated-audio cache until you delete your voice or account. Provider retention is governed separately by the provider policy described above. Successful voice deletion removes the generated-audio cache from the live database; restricted recovery snapshots follow the retention described above. Cache storage is bounded; if full, new preparation stops rather than automatically deleting paid clips. The uploaded sample is processed in memory by Creation and forwarded to the provider named in your consent, without storage in the account database. Pseudonymous daily usage counters remain for up to seven days, and global monthly spending totals remain for the current and previous month. Minimal hashed account and purchase identifiers, voice-setup counts and reserved cost totals are retained for the lifetime of the Personal AI Voice allowance program, including after voice or account deletion, solely to enforce the one-time allowance and prevent duplicate spending. They do not contain your audio or affirmation text. Renewing a subscription, reinstalling the app or deleting an account does not renew the allowance. Account-linked preparation receipts remain until voice or account deletion to prevent duplicate charges after an interrupted request. Deleting the voice clears prepared clips on the current device; other devices may retain offline clips until their next account refresh or until you remove local app data.
Service logs. Pseudonymous security and error logs may include truncated hashes of a network address or email address and are retained for up to 14 days.
Support correspondence. Messages sent through our contact form or directly by email may be retained in our support mailbox for up to 24 months after the last correspondence.
Third-party records and limited exceptions. Google Play, Apple's App Store, Fish Audio, and ElevenLabs control the records they process under their own privacy and retention policies. We may retain a specific record longer only when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or investigate fraud or a security incident. We delete or de-identify it when that need ends.
