Privacy Policy
Creation is designed around personal voice recordings and local playback. This policy explains what data the app uses, what stays on your device, and what is sent to third-party providers only when you choose optional AI features or make Google Play purchases.
1. Information we collect
Creation collects only the data needed to provide the service. This can include audio recordings you create inside the app and store locally on your device, app preferences stored locally, subscription purchase status processed by Google Play, and text or voice-generation requests you submit only when you choose to use optional AI features.
2. Audio recordings
Voice recordings you create are stored on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or access your personal recordings. Your affirmations remain private and under your control.
3. Microphone access
The app requests microphone access only when you choose to record your own affirmations. The microphone is not used in the background and is active only after you tap the record control.
4. File access for background music
If you choose a custom background track, the app is granted read access only to the specific audio file you pick through Android’s system file chooser. It does not request broad file-library access.
5. AI features
If you use the AI affirmation generator, the text you submit is sent to OpenAI’s API to generate affirmations. If you use ElevenLabs voice generation, the affirmation text is sent to ElevenLabs using the API key and voice ID you provide in the app. These features are optional, and no payment card information is sent through them.
6. In-app purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. We receive subscription status confirmation but do not receive or store your payment card details.
7. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app may send local notifications on your device at the times you configure. Notification settings can also be changed from Android system settings.
8. Analytics and sharing
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
9. Security
Where network communication is required, such as optional AI requests or Google Play purchase checks, connections use standard encrypted transport such as TLS. Recordings, API keys, voice IDs, and preferences stored on your device remain protected by your device’s own security settings.
10. Data retention and deletion
Audio recordings, generated voice clips, API keys, voice IDs, and preferences stored on your device stay there until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. We do not maintain a server-side backup of your personal recordings.
