Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Creation is designed around personal voice recordings and local playback. This policy explains what stays on your device, what is uploaded only when you choose Cloud backup, and what is sent to third-party providers when you choose optional ElevenLabs voice generation or make app store purchases.

1. Information we collect

Creation collects only the data needed to provide the service. This can include audio recordings and app preferences stored locally on your device; your email address, sign-in and session information, playlist and selection metadata, and copies of personal voice recordings if you sign in and choose Cloud backup; subscription purchase status processed by Google Play or Apple's App Store; and affirmation text you submit only when you choose optional ElevenLabs voice generation.

2. Audio recordings

Voice recordings you create are stored on your device by default. If you sign in and choose Cloud backup, Creation uploads copies of the personal voice recordings included in that backup to our account server over an encrypted connection so you can restore them on another device. We do not review those recordings or use them for advertising, analytics, or AI training, and recordings you make in Creation are not sent to ElevenLabs.

3. Microphone access

The app requests microphone access only when you choose to record your own affirmations. The microphone is not used in the background and is active only after you tap the record control.

4. File access for background music

If you choose a custom background track, the app is granted read access only to the specific audio file you pick through the system file chooser. It does not request broad file-library access.

5. Optional ElevenLabs voice generation

Personal Affirmation Builder runs on your device. If you choose optional ElevenLabs voice generation, only the affirmation text is sent to ElevenLabs using the API key and voice ID you provide in the app. Voice recordings you make in Creation are not sent to ElevenLabs. This feature is optional, and no payment card information is sent through it.

6. In-app purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Google Play or Apple's App Store. We receive subscription status confirmation but do not receive or store your payment card details.

7. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app may send local notifications on your device at the times you configure. Notification settings can also be changed from your device system settings.

8. Analytics and sharing

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

9. Security

Where network communication is required, such as sign-in, optional Cloud backup, optional ElevenLabs text processing, or app store purchase checks, connections use standard encrypted transport such as TLS. Recordings, API keys, voice IDs, and preferences stored only on your device remain protected by your device's own security settings.

10. Optional account sync (website API)

If you sign in with email in the app, we store your email address, short-lived sign-in codes, a session token, and the playlist and selection metadata and personal voice recordings you choose to upload with Cloud backup. This data is used only to sign you in and restore your backed-up content across devices. You can delete this cloud data at any time using account deletion in the app or by contacting us.

Delete your cloud account and data

  1. Open Creation's app menu.
  2. Select Account and sign in if needed.
  3. Tap Delete cloud account.
  4. Confirm Delete.

Successful deletion removes your cloud account email address, sign-in codes, sessions, synced playlist and selection data, and backed-up personal voice recordings. Data stored locally on your device remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.

11. Data retention and deletion

On-device data. Audio recordings, generated voice clips, API keys, voice IDs, and preferences stored on your device remain there until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app.

Sign-in data. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted during hourly cleanup. Sessions expire after 90 days without use and are deleted during hourly cleanup.

Cloud account data. Your account email address, synced playlist and selection metadata, and backed-up personal voice recordings are retained until you delete the account. When account deletion succeeds, Creation immediately removes the email address, sign-in codes, sessions, synced metadata, and backed-up recordings from the live account database. Creation does not maintain a separate application-level backup of that database.

Service logs. Pseudonymous security and error logs may include truncated hashes of a network address or email address and are retained for up to 14 days.

Support correspondence. Messages sent through our contact form or directly by email may be retained in our support mailbox for up to 24 months after the last correspondence.

Third-party records and limited exceptions. Google Play, Apple's App Store, and ElevenLabs control the records they process under their own privacy and retention policies. We may retain a specific record longer only when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or investigate fraud or a security incident. We delete or de-identify it when that need ends.
